A lot is going on in my world right now, Personally. Like A LOT, a lot.

I’m one of those people who likes to dive into work when the going gets tough, so from that, we have these nifty new comparison charts for potential students to compare our programs with those offered by the most common other certifiers we get asked about. I entirely admit I went into this project completely blind. I wasn’t sure how we compared in every way to other companies… I knew some factors, but not all. I honestly hadn’t looked. For the last 3 years, since we came online, our sole focus has been creating the best programming we are capable of, and working continually to improve that programming with ongoing updates, reformatting, and changes.

– thus, the sudden appearance of the 2.0 versions of some of our classes! –

So seeing how we stack up versus our competitors was a complete unknown. To say that I’m pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Let’s take a look.

Yesterday, we launched a Preview course that answers our most frequently asked questions and gives a tour of the learning portal, offered at only $1 (USD), so that students can see how our programming works before committing to the full course fee. I could find NOTHING similar among our competitors.

In the next few weeks, I will be looking at how we compare on Bereavement & Loss Training (which has a 2.0 version of its own in the works!) as well as Fertility Doula training, both of which will be slightly more challenging as many competitors view these topics as continuing education, and not worthy of certifications.
