In this course, we will cover multiple types of pregnancy and infant loss (including abortion), reasons the loss could have occurred, and how to support the family through the loss. A required reading list will be provided when the course is launched. Upon completion of this course, Doulas will receive the TMI Loss Doula (LD) endorsement. It is strongly recommended that students complete a Labor & Birth Doula certification prior to enrolling in this course.

    Course was a bit shorter than I was expecting, based on how intensive the others are, but still really made me think, and prepared me to be more empathetic if I ever encounter a bereavement situation in the course of my labor & birth work.
